Dr. Ramadan received his MD degree with distinction from the American
University of Beirut in 1983. He then completed his residency in General
Surgery at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill followed by
accredited fellowships in Vascular Surgery and in Critical Care &
Trauma. He was then appointed Assistant Professor of Surgery at the
University of Pittsburgh in 1989. He spent almost ten years in
Academics teaching medical students and surgical residents the art
and science of Vascular Surgery achieving the rank of Associate
Professor and Chief of Vascular Surgery at the University of South
Alabama before entering private practice. Dr. Ramadan joined and later
took over Dr Shamma’s premiere vascular practice in Melbourne in 2003
and enhanced it with advanced endovascular skills and innovative state
of the art minimally invasive arterial and venous procedures.

He has published several research and clinical articles in peer reviewed
journals and surgical textbooks and presented at several national
